Brandy Kimbrel is Nation Outside's Regional Coordinator for Grand Rapids Michigan. She is the Founder of Felons Do It Better ( FDIB) & Midwest Tax Associates (MWTA) Brandy's passion  and where she is most impactful is combating criminal justice reform and assisting returning citizens.

Entering the judicial system at a young age and having a checkered background, Brandy experienced situations where she did not always have a second chance. She is fueled to contribute chances, resources and alternatives that are not easily obtainable. Brandy paved her own way from being a five time felon and justice impacted she overcame obstacles, became self taught and never gave up.

Brandy is now in a space where she can do what she loves and allow duplication on what she has learned. Her mission is to provide needed resources on a higher scale to formerly incarcerated and justice impacted people. She is honored to contribute her skills to an organization where she actually feels she belongs.
