Nation Outside is always interested in connecting with passionate leaders who are committed to advancing justice, expanding opportunity, and creating systems change.

We welcome expressions of interest from individuals who bring lived experience, professional expertise, community leadership, and a commitment to our mission. While board vacancies are filled according to our governance calendar and organizational needs, we maintain an active pipeline of prospective board members for future consideration.

Candidates who submit an application may be contacted for an initial conversation, invited to participate in committee work, or considered for future board openings as they become available.

We especially encourage applications from directly impacted individuals, community leaders, advocates, and professionals with expertise in governance, finance, legal affairs, fundraising, communications, and organizational development.
